Father Mike has a plan for you. It involves bringing common sense back to the politics of our district and our city. It's about ensuring the most vulnerable, our children, our elders, those struggling to make ends meet, can live in dignity, and fulfill their American Dream.
public safety
As someone with a career within the Justice System, I understand the need for public safety solutions that work for everyone. Using my insight and experience I look forward to keeping our communities safe.
Housing
While working with our most vulnerable city residents I saw first hand the horrors of the housing catastrophe: people who's rent has skyrocketed, folks who have been priced out of their homes. In City Hall I will work to build more units while also advocating for strong tenant protections. I will also fight to lower the property tax burden for homeowners throughout the city.
education
Our city doesn’t do enough to deliver on the promise of a world class education for all students. On the council, I will work to get more funding from the City in order to expand educational opportunities and services, both inside and outside the classroom, regardless of what neighborhood you come from.
